Grandhaven Living Center, a Leisure Living Management community, has expanded it’s campus to 100 assisted living and memory care apartments to better serve the Lansing area. The community will host a public ribbon cutting ceremony on August 15 at 4:15 pm and an open house from 4pm to 6pm, where it will offer tours and refreshments to celebrate.
The expansion features 20 apartments including studio, one-bedroom and one-bedroom deluxe floor plans. Grandhaven Living Center is now accepting reservations for the additional apartments.
“We have been so blessed to be able to serve more residents in our area. There is such a need for person centered, good quality care for the elderly in this community.” Sheila Ward, Grandhaven Living Center Administrator, said. “With the expansion, we are proud to be able offer 100 apartments where our residents can enjoy all the conveniences of living in a community with the assistance they need to remain as independent as possible.”
Grandhaven Living Center offers assisted living, Moments Memory Care, day care and respite care options. The center has served over 1500 Lansing families since 2003 and is managed by Leisure Living Management, a Grand Rapids based senior living management company, that also oversees 25 senior living locations throughout Michigan.
“With this expansion, we are now able to offer more Lansing seniors the quality experience they find at Grandhaven Living Center,” Samantha Thelen, Director of Business Development of Leisure Living Management said. “We pride ourselves on promoting the value and dignity of each of our residents through thoughtful and purposeful service and beautiful, intentionally-designed buildings.”
